1. How do I make a booking with ZipHop?
Visit our website, select your location, pickup date-time and drop-off date-time and choose the vehicle you like from the list of available vehicles. Sign up using Facebook or Google-plus account or create your ZipHop account with few details like name, email, address and phone number. Make the payment and confirm your booking.
2. How my order gets confirmed?
Your order for vehicle gets confirmed on receipt of your payment. Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive an email and a SMS with booking details.
3. How do I get my vehicle?
You can select any pickup point from the available points in your selected city. Reach your selected pickup point on the day and time of your booking and simply pick your ride and hit the road.
4. What documents do I need to have for booking a vehicle?
At the time of pickup of vehicle, you need to produce your driving licence failing which the booking stands cancelled and refund policy will be applicable. Further, the user must carry a Government approved Photo ID (Passport, Aadhaar, Voter Card) that may need to be submitted to the vendor. The exact documents required vary from vendor to vendor and are displayed in the Terms and Conditions tab associated with each vendor.
5. What is the amount of security deposit and how do I get it back?
The refundable security deposit varies from vendor to vendor and has to be paid at the time of pick-up of the Vehicle. Post return of the Vehicle in satisfactory condition, the vendor would return the deposit to you. The exact deposit to be paid at the time of pick-up to the vendor is displayed on the website.
6. Is there a limit on the number of kilometers?
Some vendors offer unlimited mileage while others have a cap post which charges may apply. Please check Terms and Conditions associated with the bike for exact details for concerned vendor.
7. Is there a minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period varies from vendor to vendor. Please check Terms and Conditions associated with the bike for exact details for concerned vendor. There is no maximum rental period.
8. Are there any restrictions on who can rent ZipHop vehicles?
Yes, the rider has to be at least 20 years of age and have a valid driver's licence. The licence has to be presented at the time of pickup.
9. Is fuel included in the tariff?
No, the fuel is not included in the tariff. The vehicle will be provided with sufficient fuel to reach the nearest gas station from the pickup location.
10. Is it possible to extend my ride beyond the booking date-time?
Yes, the booking can be extended by using our website or mobile app. You can also get your booking extended by calling ZipHop customer care. However, the extension will depend on the availability of the requested vehicle.
11. Is there a late penalty?
Yes, there is a penalty for returning the vehicle later than the drop-off time as the vehicle could have a subsequent booking. For late penalty charges, please check the Terms and Conditions tab associated with concerned vendor.
12. What happens if the vehicle breaks down midway?
In case the vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident, call vendor immediately. You will recieve the vendor contact details in booking confirmation mail and message. You will be provided with a similar or equivalent vehicle if the vehicle cannot be repaired immediately. However in case of user negligence, the replacement will be provided on the sole discretion of the vendor.
13. Are these tariffs inclusive of service tax?
Yes, all of ZipHop’s charges are inclusive of service tax.
14. Are there any booking cancellation charges?
You can cancel the booking from ZipHop website or mobile app. The cancellation charges will be levied as follows:
  • Full Refund in case of cancellation made more than 24 hours before ride start time
  • No Refund in case of cancellation made less than 24 hours before ride start time
15. What is HopCash?

HopCash is a way in which ZipHop endeavors to reward and thank its loyal customers for using ZipHop services. Members of ZipHop Loyalty program are able to earn and accumulate “HopCash" that can be redeemed for making bookings with ZipHop.

    One can use HopCash on all bookings though ZipHop upto a maximum of 10% of the booking amount.

    HopCash Validity

    HopCash has a lifetime validity, however ZipHop reserves the right to terminate, discontinue or cancel it's loyalty program 'HopCash' at any time and in its sole discretion without notice.
