Reach Gateway of India by hiring a car or a bike from Ziphop.in from your destination. Book a PNP or Ajanta Jetty from booking stalls opposite to Gateway of India. AC jetty costs Rs. 120 and non-AC costs Rs. 65. First ferry starts at 8.30 AM but the timings depend on tide conditions also. Booking on a non-AC ferry, top seat is the best option as you can feel the breezing wind and cool waves. First place you will land is at Mandwa port from where you can opt for the bus services provided by PNP or Ajanta to Alibaug. It takes 1 hr from Gateway of India to Mandwa and 30 minutes from Mandwa to Alibaug. It is always better to book tickets for return journey before hand and confirm day’s last jetty.

Varsoli, Kihim-Navgaon (12 km), Awas (16 km), Akshi and Negaon beaches are around 30 minutes away from Alibaug beach.
