A lot can be done in a span of just 48 hours that will leave you with plenty of memories and new experiences. For your next trip, we at ZipHop have a special wilderness adventure planned for you, in the heart of the Nagarhole National Park. We recommend staying at The Bison, a wildlife resort, located right on the stunning Kabini River backwaters. The Bison is easily accessible because getting there takes only a few hours of your time, if you’re travelling from Bangalore. You could always drive down or take the Shatabdi Express to Mysore, and then organise a car that will take you to the resort or you can book bike in Bike rental in Bangalore.
More often than not, everybody has a desire to get away from the big city life so they can take a breather and enjoy peaceful and quiet surroundings. That being said, along with serenity, The Bison Resort also offers adventurous and unique activities that a lot of other resorts in the vicinity don’t do. The best part – it is a luxurious wildlife resort that offers a blend of rustic nature and luxury.
Rest assured that your stay at The Bison would give you the best of comfort and service. For starters, instead of regular rooms, they have luxurious tents as their accommodation. Picture this – massive tents under a thatched roof, featuring comfortable beds and even better bathrooms. The “rooms” get their inspiration from African style tents, which is in fact where the resort gains its experience. Added to that, the tents have a view of the backwaters and forest. Also, you will have a personal little deck area where you can sit back and relax while stargazing. Enhancing the wildlife experience, you sleep to the sound of the wilderness.

National Park Safari Spotting:
While out on the safari, amidst the thick forest, you will almost certainly spot deer, Sambars, elephants, and peacocks. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to spot the big and beautiful big cats – tigers, leopards, and even the mysterious Black Panther!
Try to leave Bangalore early in the morning so you reach Kabini in time for lunch and then the afternoon safari. Following that, you could pick one of the above-mentioned activities and then sleep to the sounds of the forest.
Wake up at literally the crack of dawn, with a hot cup of coffee or tea delivered to your tent because you should opt for the morning safari. Post safari, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and prepare to say goodbye to the resort if you want to get back to Bangalore by the evening.
